June 14, July 26, September 13, 2009 | Launch of the Masters of Counterpoint Series
The Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park is pleased to announce the launch of a summer concert series. The relation to music is essential to Rubinoff's work; he perceives "sculpture as music in plastic space and music as sculpture in elastic space". Of particular interest is the parallel of counterpoint in the music of Bach and the sculpture of Rubinoff.

A series of three daytime concerts will be held in the summer of 2009 on June 14, July 26, and September 13, 2009. All concerts are free of charge.

Cellist Brian Mix will perform selections from Bach's Six Suites for Solo Cello over the course of the series.

Violinist Li-Ling Liao will perform selections from Bach's Partitas and Sonatas for Solo Violin.
